Please google “Virustotal false positives”, have a closer look at the virus engine that reported the problem and decide for yourself why all the others are not reporting the problem…

Unfortunately you cannot share any items you have purchased with us since we need to ensure for the safety of our users that we get everything right from the developer which is the only 100% trustworthy source. Any file that is passed on from a third party in between is a potential thread to security that we cannot accept – even if we assume best intentions with anyone who offers items to us. The best way to give back to GPLDL is to spread the word or making donations that will allow us to maintain and grow the catalog.

As far as I understand this plugin/extension it is a SAAS Plugin that requires a connection to the developers server with an API-key to run. It would require heavy forking to make it run. Can anybody confirm this?

Rick, thanks for pointing this out. As you can imagine we have this discussion quite frequently and there are various moral/ethical perspectives you can take on this. We fully agree with your comment and how you explain it. Thank you for spreading the word. This is extremely valuable for GPLDL!

The StudioPress Genesis Themes and the Genesis Framework have not been retired – you can find them in the Special Gifts for Premium Members Section (https://gpldl.com/repository/special-gifts/).

We had some of the products in the general GPLDL WordPress Themes Repository (https://gpldl.com/repository/premium-wordpress-themes/) and some in the Special Gifts for Premium Members section before and moved all of them to the Special Gifts now primarily for technical reasons (would be quite difficult to maintain them in two different directories with our newly established update process). We also move a lot of items from the Special Gifts Section to the general GPLDL Repository to clean up the directory structure.

Check the license please. Is it 100% GPL Licensed?

Faizan, this is not the way how to do it: You appearantly have a problem with your site and blame your download of a plugin from GPLDL for this.

If you are blaming us we expect you to publish explicit proof. Show us the malicious code that is in the plugin that caused your problem. You will have to do this analysis yourself and I can tell you already 100% that your problem is NOT caused by a malicious plugin from GPLDL since there are no “malicious plugins” at GPLDL.

When you are posting such false allegations in the forums you are essentially damaging the reputation of GPLDL as a credible source. This is something we cannot accept and we will NOT help you unless you can come up with a solid proof.

Alex, once you have further analyzed the files, can you please confirm that they do not contain malware? Thanks.

Omi, lots of really good ideas! Thanks for that and I am sure a lot of people in the community would appreciate quite a number of these to have them realized at GPLDL.

I can also confirm that we are already working on some of them to be realized. Some others are more challenging to be realized technically and legally.

Sounds like an interesting plugin! We will consider buying it depending on the feedback we get from more users in this post.
