Dave, thanks for your willingness to support! Unfortunately we cannot accept any contributed themes/plugins. To live up to our aspiration and the promises to our users, we need to ensure that they are true originals (unmodified files) and that we can deliver updates in time. That’s why we cannot accept themes/plugins as donations.
7h3hKeymasterNone is 100% GPL licensed.
7h3hKeymasterDone! Please find the most recent WooCommerce Subscriptions Extension 2.0 update in the GPLDL WooCommerce Extensions Repository. Enjoy!
7h3hKeymasterThe Donation Indicator shows if the expenses have been covered (purely the costs for subscriptions). When 100% is reached, we will consider adding more themes and plugins from the wishlist.

7h3hKeymaster1. Log in with FTP to your server, 2. rename the folder of the old plugin version, 3. upload the folder with the unzipped new version of the plugin, 4. delete the renamed folder of the old plugin version.
7h3hKeymasterSorry guys, no plans on adding EDD anytime soon.
7h3hKeymasterFinesse is a Themeforest item with a split license – not 100% GPL. We will not provide it here.
7h3hKeymasterSuperstore got updated!
7h3hKeymasterIt just got updated to 1.9.3.!
7h3hKeymasterAll Themify WordPress Themes have been updated recently! Thanks for the notification!
7h3hKeymasterThanks for the notification, Martin. We’ve updates WooCommerce Variation Swatches and Photos to 1.6.9.
7h3hKeymasterThanks for getting in touch. WPMU DEV Smush Pro is the most recent version from the WPMU DEV Premium Plugins directory. Since it appears to be limiting the number of images that can be compressed and keeps asking for an upgrade, it is now a SAAS-plugin that does not add “premium features”, so it is useless for people who do not have a WPMU DEV membership. We will therefore remove it from the repository.
7h3hKeymasterNo prob! Good to hear that the “test-drive” prevented you from buying the wrong product!
7h3hKeymasterOn the list! Thanks for your suggestion!
7h3hKeymasterWhat exactly do you mean by “DIVI style templates”? Everything that is released by Elegant Themes and related to the Divi WordPress Theme is included in the .zip-file that you can find in the repository.
7h3hKeymasterGreat Dave! BackupBuddy is an awesome plugin and we recommend anybody who can afford to buy a license to get one and support the developers.
7h3hKeymasterKate, thanks again for sharing this very insightful analysis. Your thoughts are very much appreciated!
We agree with a lot of points you have raised here. Indeed it is not the easiest thing to strike a balance between the ethos not to charge for downloads and receiving donations to grow GPLDL.
We have had a lot of discussions in our team about how to organize memberships.
We are crystal clear that the mission of GPLDL is to make free software free for everyone. This especially includes people who neither have the financial means to buy directly from the developers nor are able to make a donation. With this particular group of people in mind, we cannot imagine to charge our users (in general) and therefore hope that those who can afford to give something back will also cover the expenses for those who cannot.
We also will keep donations completely voluntary and reject the idea of “forced donations”- or “donate and reward”-models. We believe that this is not a true, genuine donation but a “hidden membership fee”.
Instead we would love to hear from our users who need more downloads or additional services to manually increase their download limits or improve and extend GPLDL’s services in other ways. We are curious to learn about their particular needs and see how we can add additional value for them.
Since we have just started out – actually we are still beta! -, we are very excited to see that a lot of users have registered and are enjoying GPLDL and we are grateful to those who instantly made donations.
7h3hKeymasterDave, you are right. It is against the ethos to charge for downloads at all and we do believe that we add value to our users and donations will allow us to keep the site going. Having a “forced donation” when someone reaches a certain limit is something we do not like.
Since 99% of our users do not reach the technical download limit anyway, we decided to leave it how it is for now and those who do reach the limit can contact us and let us know. We have means to extend the limit individually.
7h3hKeymasterThanks Dave for your Feedback. We need to address this!
7h3hKeymasterGlad you found it Dave and I recommend to update your year old version for Security Reasons!
7h3hKeymasterSaul, it is right there in the Premium WordPress Plugins Repository named “Rocket Genius Gravity Forms WordPress Plugin”.
7h3hKeymasterI double-checked with them: The API Key is implemented in the download and the code specifically for every user and the first time you run the plugin, it phones home to activate.
7h3hKeymasterEd, if someone makes a generous donation and has hit his monthly download limit, we will extend the limit manually.
7h3hKeymasterTommy, we will consider additional options to collect donations in the future.
7h3hKeymasterThanks for your request. As far as I understand the concept, WP Rocket is at least partly a SAAS solution. The FAQ says that one of their bots needs to visit your site to activate the cached site and that you need a license for all domains you are using. If you do not have a license key WP Rocket will not work, so it does not make sense to add it to the repository…
August 6, 2015 at 5:08 pm in reply to: Woocommerce extension plugin which is can do email verification #161997h3hKeymasterAzlan, if I got it right, you are looking for something like this free Email verification plugin for WooCommerce: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-email-validation/
7h3hKeymasterKate, we have introduced a new user level and increased your download limit. Please try and let us know if you have any issues. Once this is tested we may roll it out to other users as well.
7h3hKeymasterKate & Azlan: First of all: Thanks for your kind words and support for GPLDL. This is highly appreciated! I totally get your point regarding the 100 files/month limit. We will come up with a solution for users who need more than this asap.
