Since v4.3 the old Facebook and Ical Importer don’t work any more. The new “Event Aggregator” addon is must have if want to go with the new updates.

Yes, the 2 old addons /facebook and ical importer) doesn’t work with the new updates. Maybe you could publish the new addon “Event Aggregator”, they say this in the web:

“Already purchased iCal Importer or Facebook Events? Make the switch to Event Aggregator for free.”

Yes, Event aggregator is the new plug in. Will this be added soon? Also, the Modern Tribe Calendar Pro 4.4.0 version had some major bugs. A 4.4.1 version has been released, FYI.

As far as I understand this plugin/extension it is a SAAS Plugin that requires a connection to the developers server with an API-key to run. It would require heavy forking to make it run. Can anybody confirm this?

That appears to be the case. I’m still able to use the “Legacy Import” option to do Facebook importing.

And I spoke too soon. I haven’t made changes to TEC, but legacy import no longer works. Whatever connection it was using has been disabled, apparently.

+1 bumping to the top. As the import legacy for Ical & Facebook has completely stopped working with wordpress 4.9.5.

Facebook has also stopped all other event API pluggins until further notice. Which means there is no workaround for any other pluggin

Found a plugin that does this function since modern tribe moved to their SAAS aggregator.
