I see what you mean and found it strange, too. My researched showed that WooThemes has created some version inconsistencies between version 6.1. and 6.3. in the WooThemes Google Product Feed WooCommerce Extension (check out the included changelog). It is now available at 6.3 an now everything should be consistent again.

They have very strange Terms of Service (http://d5creation.com/tos/) which basically says themes are GPL licensed but may not be redistributed???

Highly unlikely that we will have it here anytime soon.

It is highly unlikely that you will find it for download at GPLDL anytime soon.

Deacon, we double check all files right after downloading them from the developers for anything malicious and do not publish if there is any doubt. The SimplePress Theme is absolutely clean.

Don’t know what virus checker you are using but it must be a false positive.

Virustotal which uses 56 anti virus routines from all major brands also says that there is not a single issue. Please check yourself:

Bill, that is a classic “split license”. RocketTheme licenses the the code under GPL and claims copyright for the rest. “You cannot redistribute these files as your own, or include them in a package or extension of your own without prior consent of RocketTheme.” should make it clear. To me this is some sort of undermining the GPL and it is not 100% clear if this practice is a GPL violation or if redistributing these files would be a copyright violation…

Thanks Rui for the Feedback and you appreciation. Downloads are limited to 50/month though. But anyway that should meet 99% of our users demands and for those who need more we can arrange higher limits for a reasonable donation.

You cannot update automatically because you do not have an API key. When you want to update you have to do this manually: 1. Download latest version from GPDL, 2. Delete old Theme, 3. Upload new Theme.
