Wrong zip format

Is it possible that the downloaded zips have the wrong WP format?

They are supposed to have a folder with the plugin name and, inside it, the plugin files. Instead of this, the zips have directly the files, so the updater creates a new folder with the zip filename, or creates a new one with a “-1” appended.

I will update the plugins, uploading them via Ftp to avoid problems, but I’d like to know if is something related with GPLDL (just in case).
