I noticed that there were other plugins by WPMU Dev, but I did not see WP Smush Pro on the list.

This plugin “Reduce image file sizes and improve performance using the premium WPMU DEV smushing API within WordPress.” Basically takes the files and reduces the image file sizes. It might not be on the list because it sends the pictures to the “WPMU DEV smushing API” for processing.

Would be nice to have it again….

That is because Smush Pro uses WPMU’s own cloud servers to ‘smush’ images and even if you install the pro version it will ask for you to activate their suite in order to use the pro features
