Welcome to GPLDL - we are still beta - please report any bugs via the contact form.
I just tried to activate the plugin, but it gave me an error saying “Plugin file does not exist.”
I tried downloading a new file again and reinstalling it. Didn’t work.
<s>And now I can’t go to the free version because it thinks that there are two instances of the plugin installed. I clear the cache, they are still there.<s> This has been dealt with.
What can I do to fix this?
Have you tried logging into the server e.g. cpanel file manager or whatever server admin panel you have, then delete the files from there? Also if you have a db backup, you could try reinstalling that too, then trying again ensuring you upload all files to the correct place (I use FileZilla as it’s very reliable).
If you don’t have a DB backup (first qstn is why? you should always have regular backups!) maybe take a look in the DB to see if there are any updraft entries you can delete – but that is more tricky and you can damage the DB so be careful!
I ended up doing that using a guide and got rid of the duplicates. I do have backups, I just don’t know how to use them.
Tried reinstalling the file since it said it was updated today. No luck same error.
I’m getting the Same error, does it solved?
And how can i download lower version?
Never did, unfortunately. I ended up switching to iThemes Security plugin which does backups too.
Can you try the latest version again? Please make sure to remove the free WordPress version before.
I can confirm it it NOT working with the latest version.
It works fine for me. It’s possible that the free version maybe causing the conflict. Try deleting the free version from your WP plugin folder and your database. Then try reinstalling and activate.
