Welcome to GPLDL - we are still beta - please report any bugs via the contact form.
I am unable to find anything on the site about Soliloquy Slider. There even seem to be no requests or other posts in the forum.
As far as I can see, looking in the code base, Soliloquy is released under the GPL v2 or later license, including the java script code. There are a few pieces of reused code that are under the mit license, and one php file from vimeo that is under the apache license. I can’t find any additional licensing information on the developer’s website.
Is this software a possibility for GPLDL? I can see that the license checking code is fairly complex. Is that a reason not to have it?
As a follow up, here you can find the Soliloquywp web site terms and conditions. About a third of the way down the page you will find the paragraph:
Plugin License
SoliloquyWP WordPress plugin is licensed under the GNU general public license (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html) version 2.0 or later.
Other provisions of the terms and conditions mostly refer to access to support for the plugin, as well as use of the web site, etc. I believe this implies that there is not a split license for this plugin.
Yes, it looks fine regarding the license. Let’s see, if it is requested by others as well and we may consider it.
It would be great if this plugin would be added into GPLDL!!
