ParticipantI am wondering if you ever offer Trial Periods to the Premium Subscriptions or Discounts for the Premium Membership Subscriptions you offer with the Donations? I would not mind donating $15.00 but I would like to either get a couple day trial to preview the content available and try it out or it would be extremely nice to get a discount for the Donation, to let’s say $10? What if I want to donate less than $15.00, is there a way to do that and is there anything Premium included with donations less than $15.00?

ParticipantWTF? Don’t be so tight!! These guys have invested huge amount of time and energy to bring this service to you. You should be happy to go for premium…. trust me it’s worth it! It’s small consideration given the amount of software available…. just do it and don’t be offensive over $5 !!

KeymasterThanks guys for your replies. Nonetheless we appreciate any kind of ideas around GPLDL and also Amber Adams wish is one we would like to implement. We would love to give everything away for free to anyone. That is basically the idea behind GPLDL. Nonetheless we also have to keep the show going and pay for licenses to put the WordPress items on this page so the best solution – up to now – is collecting donations.

DON’T BE SO FAST TO JUDGE BUDDY! I am living with CANCER and tons of other health problems, one of my medications alone costs $600.00 per month, I have over $3,000.00 going out per month for medications and medical treatments. Until you’ve walked in someone else’s shoes and know what they are going through, you might want to consider the words you use. I am VERY FAR FROM TIGHT, I just do not have tons of funds that I can just toss out there for things. I’d give anyone the shirt right off my back and give them anything in this world that would help them. For some of us, like myself, living with terminal illnesses and huge medical bills and huge medication costs monthly, sometimes we do not have $15 per month to donate. If you comment was directed toward me, walk in my shoes for a while, then tell me what you can afford and can’t. What does it hurt to ask for a free trial or discounted trial or something similar? It doesn’t hurt, period. Keep rude comments to self. I asked the STAFF & OWNERS OF THIS SITE, NOT MEMBERS FOR THEIR RUDE COMMENTS, so do keep them to yourself. Apparently some of you were not taught if you have nothing nice to say, keep your mouth SHUT and quite obviously, none of you have ever had cancer or another terminal illness, the medical bills I have, medication costs I have plus all of my other bills, food and etc and until you do, your comments are meaningless. Try to have some compassion and next time, perhaps see if there’s a reason someone may need something like what I asked for before jumping the gun and being rude. There’s nothing wrong with my “mentality” but seems others here have mental problems!I am extremely sorry if this offended anyone but people need to learn respect and stop automatically assuming that I am just greedy or tight because that’s not the case. Although, I go through what I am going through, my partner and I donate to SEVERAL CHARITIES EVERY MONTH including ASPCA, ST. JUDES, MARY BABB RANDOLPH CANCER CENTER AND OTHERS, so greed is not in my blood or in me period!
