Welcome to GPLDL - we are still beta - please report any bugs via the contact form.
Hi,
Greate work by GPLDL, aplaus to you guys ..
Could you please add WP Rocket, It´s GPL Licensed, it says so at the bottom of their FAQ page.
This is far out the best caching software out there and it is VERY easy to configure.
Read a test about cache plugins here http://wpdevshed.com/best-wordpress-cache-plugin/
I am sure all members here want to try this plugin out before supporting the people that built it, by buying a support licens after the tryout.
Thanks for your request. As far as I understand the concept, WP Rocket is at least partly a SAAS solution. The FAQ says that one of their bots needs to visit your site to activate the cached site and that you need a license for all domains you are using. If you do not have a license key WP Rocket will not work, so it does not make sense to add it to the repository…
As I read, it has a preload cache crawler only. since the plugin still works but does not update after license expired. The cache is loaded anyway as soon as someone comes in to the website, the precrawler-server only ads precached webpages.
A note to this, I have a version that is about a year old that I got from a friend, it works great but does not get precrawled cache pages and ofcourse does not update since I do not have a license yet.
I double-checked with them: The API Key is implemented in the download and the code specifically for every user and the first time you run the plugin, it phones home to activate.
ok, seems like the version I have then don´t have that function, maybe someone deleted the activation function in my plugin then .. Too bad would love to have a newer version. =)
