I just signed up and love the idea behind GPLDL. However, I like to be pretty cautious in the space of obtaining paid content that is offered for free. Many pirated/nulled WordPress themes and plugins have been reported to contain malicious code to take advantage of unsuspecting users that could cause havoc for the user and/or benefit the “hacker” that nulled the content. That being said, I truly believe there are people who have good intentions and want to provide content for free to those who can’t afford the full price. I am hoping GPLDL is that kind of community. I would love to get some kind of explanation or assurance regarding the safety of the content available on this site and am sure other people would fall into the same boat.
If this is explained somewhere already then my apologies but I couldn’t find anything on it.
There is no “nulled nonsense” here. No hidden malware either. You found the right place! :-)
GPLDL simply copies files from github.com and pastes it here! I found out after paying and immediately asked for a refund. gpldl did not return my email
@BA: This is true. Some files are from the official developer’s accounts at Github. Some are even from the official WordPress Repository. These files are usually complimentary to some of the add-ons which otherwise would not work. Again, all files are from the original developers and true originals. No code parts are modified . That is our promise and we stick to it!
Sure, your plugin copies have worked great for us from the last 2 years.
@BA: GPLDL is a free service funded by donations. Therefore there are no “payments” or “refunds”. They also provide MANY premium plugins and themes that are not simply copied from GitHub.
I have never encountered any modified code in any of the plugins I have used before. GPLDL is the real deal. No shadiness, all GPL. 🙂️
