Welcome to GPLDL - we are still beta - please report any bugs via the contact form.
Hello Admin. Before creating an account I thought donating was optional, until I saw how much you are restricting free members from downloading some themes and plugins.
It would be better to allow free members to download any file of their choice limited to 25 per month, instead of choosing for them what they can and cannot download.
I would like to upgrade from free membership but I am afraid, because you will still choose for me what I can download.
In conclusion, It would be great if you added another payment method because Paypal is restricted in my country. Add stripe, 2checkout etc
I did upgrade just to find out that the extension I downloaded did not work :-( And nobody seam to be willing to help
Guys, honestly, I do not understand you. Of course we would love to give you all the wealth the WordPress ecosystem has to offer and yea, for free for everyone. That is the whole point why we created the website. And yes, there are still limitations to this idea and we cannot fully realize it since we have to keep the lights on for you and pay for the licenses. That indeed means we have to make a choice and yes, we do make the choices for you what we can offer… Regarding the comment that some things did not work for you: that unfortunately may occur. If we would offer personal support, we could not run the site. So we are sorry to hear that but you will need to figure some things out yourself or with the help of the community. If you do not want to go that route: get a full paid license with full support from the respective devs: we can highly recommend it and you most likely will be served best. Just don‘t complain about the pricetag then…
It’s possible that GPLDL is not as popular as we may think, and that donations really are required to keep it running because there aren’t a great amount of people donating. Setting up a repo this big and apparently clean can’t be easy.
Hello @7h3h Keymaster
Does the donation mean that all the plugins are up to date? I notice quite a few are 2 or 3 versions behind. Just sayin.
