Events Ticket Plus -"Your License Key is Invalid" Message

Hello,

How can I get the latest update 4.10.8 on Events Ticket Plus by Modern Tribe?

I also got this message when I activated it:

“Your license key is invalid. You may need to download and install an updated version of the plugin. You can check the status of your licenses and download plugins by logging in to your account on theeventscalendar.com.”

You can download it when it is available at GPLDL and have to manually update it. That means: uploading the new version via FTP and deleting the old one.

All the Events Calendar plugins break when another version comes out. I suspect there’s some code that checks for a new version and breaks unlicensed versions. I’ve taken a quick stab to comment some stuff out but no dice so far.

If anyone figures out what the code is, let us know.
