Monster Insights Pro now useless without licence key?

You don’t need its reports and their reports suck anyway. Just go to google analytics to view your reports and dig for insights, it is way better than the very limited report page of the plugin.

Again, so there is no point in having this version, since it requires the activation key to generate reports?

Then why have it for download? It’s the only reason I ‘donated’ this month. I thought I was onto something.

Yes, the only reason i donate is MonsterInsights, but cannot use without licence key, wasted my money. What can i do for now? any idea?

Due to the way the MonsterInsights plugin works, the only way to get a working copy of MonsterInsights is by buying it through the MonsterInsights website nowadays.

After the version from this website stopped working, I originally just moved back to the Lite version, but there’s a lot of differences, more than just the reporting (which I find a lot easier to use than Google’s plus its on my dashboard where I normally look — one less thing to log into).

On this page from the upsell notices in their Lite version they list a lot of them https://www.monsterinsights.com/lite/ (I haven’t yet found a page on their site where they list all of them) but basically the Pro version also contains all of the tracking for eCommerce, form plugins, scroll tracking, etc on top of the reports.

Since I run a WooCommerce store, I need the Pro version in order to get the most out of Google Analytics.
