Absolutely, Wordfence is a security plugin and scans for out of date versions compared with those both paid and unpaid published to WP

It’s by no means perfect when using unlicensed plugins as some exceptions do exist, for example Gravity forms never shows an update is available you have to always check manually and Yoast does not directly show it has an update but WP dashboard will show an update available, you will not know which plugin it is but more than likely it will be Yoast.
